Grilled Muffuletta (sometimes spelled Muffaletta) is my spin on the traditional Muffuletta sandwich that was developed by Italian immigrants in New Orleans. The term ‘Muffuletta’ refers both to the traditional bread that is used and the olive tapenade that tops this sandwich.
