My grandmother was a Southern cook and she always use melted Crisco to make the best fried chicken. I am going to try these cookies. I think I am going to melt some chocolate and dip eaxh cookie halfway and let them reharden in the fridge.
i used crisco for years. now i used Lard- animal fat crisco stays in your body way too long – all synthetic oils do – anyway Lard works as a switch out and i will definitely be making these thank you ❤❤❤
