New Miami restaurants in September 2026 are Storia, Flagler St. Bakery, Miami Slice Coconut Grove, Pho Nam, Casa Rassi, Meli, and Taquiza.

Provided by Pho Nam

Miami, we survived the summer! We finally did it. It’s officially September, which means we have — hopefully — entered the last truly hot month of the year. (Does anyone else remember when Halloween in Miami was actually cold, and you had to bundle up under your costume? We had it so good in the 2000s.) Anyways, I digress.

The important thing is that September is here, and Miami has plenty of new restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and bars to check out. Somehow, while the rest of us were hiding inside with the AC blasting all August, Miami’s restaurant scene was very, very busy. There’s Pho Nam, the new spot from the team behind Tâm Tâm, bringing old-school Saigon-style pho to downtown. Then, there’s Storia, the absolutely charming Italian osteria Upper Buena Vista needed, and Flagler St. Bakery, which is already drawing lines for some of the most creative pastries in Miami right now. (Seriously, go try the medianoche croissant.)

And then there’s Miami Slice. After what felt like an eternity of driving past its Coconut Grove storefront and wondering when those doors would finally open, one of Miami’s most beloved pizza spots is officially slinging slices in the Grove from a gorgeous new restaurant right off Main Highway. And those are only a few of the newcomers. From pho and pizza to housemade pasta, pastries, tacos, coffee, and cocktails, consider this your September dining homework: These are the 11 new Miami restaurants everyone’s talking about right now. ¡Buen Provecho!

Of course, the pizza remains the star, with favorites like the “Pepperoni Proper” emerging from the oven with the signature char, chew, and fresh toppings that made Miami Slice one of the city’s most popular pizza spots.
