In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend’s lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

Hello, We will be arriving via Civitavecchia Cruise Terminal on Nov 1, 2026 and will be staying in Rome for 2 nights before flying home. Would you recommend hiring a private car from cruise terminal to our hotel near the Pantheon or taking train to Termini then taxi to hotel? I know train/taxi would be less costly, but thinking private hire car may save us much more time and hassle since we will have luggage, there are 3 of us.
Another question you mentioned in this video that 1st Sunday of month Coliseum would be free to visit, does that include Nov 1, 2026? As it is a Holiday All Saints Day.

Great tips 👍 I was in Italy last May. I had prebooked all my train rides 2 months before my trip via Omio app – not sure, if they charge more than booking directly thorough the train company but it was supper convenient. Also I made a point to myself not to que up for anything – and, honestly, it is very doable with a bit of planning. I was at Trevi Foundation at 6.30am and the next day at St Peter's Basilica at 7am and there were no crowds there at that time. Later in the day I visited less popular sights. Thank you for your work, your advice is invaluable.
My wife and I still talk about how you went the extra mile to help us with the information about the opera house in Venice. Awesome channel!

Thanks to your channel and a few others, I got my train tickets well in advance and compared Trenitalia to Italo, buying the best priced, best class option. And I know what to look for as far as gondola pricing and taxi pricing. The only thing I worry about is restaurant reservations and if I don't make them, will it be an issue.
Came for the savings; stayed for the awesome accent.
Hello, I love the two of you!!! 😊 I’m heading to Rome in mid October. There will be 5 of us. And we are doing a 7 day cruise out of Rome. We are coming in a couple of days early. The 4 star hotels that accommodate 5 people are so expensive. Close to $1000.00 a night. Any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated. Lynn
