I really enjoyed it.
Great cast and story too.
But the thing I wanted to know throughout the film was why Peggy had a nervous breakdown.
Which was the main plot and why nobody believed her, when she said she'd been attacked 🤔

Similar to the hissing man in my darkened room, and that is not my imagination. When I tried to explain certain things that were happening, the police tried to convince me that it never happened, until someone threw a flour bomb through my letterbox. When I called the police, his response was” How did it reach this far?” Now it was not my imagination!
Love these 70s movies. I didn’t notice the women in the movies acted unstable, emotional wrecks, faint for any reason, scream wildly and couldn’t take care of themselves because they were childish. Omg the wife can’t even speak up for herself and she roams around like a 5 year old child.
Joan Collins comes on screen very late here as couldnt get her wig to fit right 🥴

The most terrifying thing about this film is that so much of it is still happening: predatory men feeding young women knock out drugs, other people's gaslighting and minimising 😢 lovely countryside though
