Gioia Cresti was the only girl in her agriculture school, at a time when that simply wasn’t deemed an appropriate path for a young lady. Her mother was so unhappy with her choice that she didn’t speak to her for six months.
That was only the beginning of Gioia’s story.
Today, she’s a respected oenologist and the owner of Carpineta Fontalpino. Her journey there was anything but straightforward.
