When the summer weather isn’t so hot that we’re melting, it’s the perfect excuse to check out London’s terraces, rooftops, and courtyard dining options. After all, nothing beats trying to bring a taste of Euro summer to the streets of the capital with some al fresco food and drinks. And hidden away within a busy part of the city, you’ll find Sale e Pepe Terrazza – an enormous new terrace restaurant that’s just opened.

Bringing a taste of the Italian Riviera to the streets of the Big Smoke, Sale e Pepe Terrazza has taken over one of the city’s oldest and largest restaurant courtyards. The site spans more than 5,000 square feet, and it’s now an all-day destination for drinking and dining, tucked away within the West End.

If you want to check it out, you’ll have to act fast, because Sale e Pepe Terrazza is only around for the summer. When the season changes, they’ll be shutting their doors (and likely fleeing to someplace warmer).

Wander into the grounds of the terrace restaurant, and you’ll truly be transported away from the city. And if you somehow stumble across its hidden entranceway while roaming the streets of London, you’ll feel like you’ve discovered a proper hidden gem.

Whether you’re visiting for a leisurely afternoon with sunset aperitivos, or an elegant meal under the stars, Sale e Pepe Terrazza invites you to relax and slow down. Ignore the London rush, and immerse yourself in the spirit of an Italian summer.

The menu features a range of Italian classics, ranging from pizza to cicchetti, seasonal salads, and plenty of spritz-y cocktails. Grab some Bruschette and Arancini, and wash it all down with a sparkling Amalfi Spritz. And as the day becomes night, sip on a Spicy Watermelon Margarita, or a special serve from their Negroni menu, as you tuck into Pistachio Soft Serve and Homemade Tiramisù.
