When I heard Six at Cambridge was launching new pasta dishes, I was thrilled to be invited along to try them.
I’ve visited Six many times over the years; it’s one of those restaurants you know you can rely on for good food, good service, beautiful city views, and amazing drinks.
To start, we tried the new Burrata Salad with maple-roasted figs and tomatoes.

I really enjoyed the addition of figs to this.
I haven’t had them with a burrata salad before, and they brought a lovely sweetness to the dish.
I wanted to try one of the new pasta dishes and went for the Spaghetti Carbonara.

I couldn’t believe how much parmesan was on top—it made me so happy!!
It was a really big portion, and I struggled to finish it, but it tasted so good that I made sure to eat as much as possible.
It had plenty of bacon, which was packed with flavour and gave a great saltiness to the dish.
It was a great creamy, cheesy dish, one of the best I’ve had.
My friend went for the new Ravioli di Zucca, a pumpkin ravioli with toasted hazelnuts.

She really enjoyed it and loved the flavour.
I tried a piece and really liked the creamy pumpkin taste.
For dessert, we shared the Passion Fruit Crème Brûlée.

I don’t often go for a crème brûlée, but I fancied something a little fresher, and I was glad we did.
It was delicious, with the perfect balance of fruity and creamy flavours, finished with a great crispy topping.
The pasta dishes and burrata are a great addition to an already impressive menu.
I’m sure I’ll be visiting again soon; I always enjoy a summer trip to the rooftop bar.
