I did this once. Got fired for insubordination. Apparently if you don't seem devastated every time your boss tells you you didn't do a good job that means you aren't taking your work seriously.

And I I have the most anxiety cooking in front of people. I might hide it because I talk to the people, little do they know I WANT TO RUN AWAY. And I've been cooking in front of people for years. It's just an omelet station but I'm the only one cooking 6 omelets while taking more orders and trying to keep the orders in my mind. Nothing is written. I may put on a happy face but there's fear in the back of my mind.

My co worker realized he got paid the same whether he does the work or not.
Owner doesn't want a lawsuit, so he let him get away with it. And now i get to look for another job. Isn't employment awesome?
