Local spot that is NYC authentic. I normally get just a cheese pie. 18 inches for $19.99 but if you add half 1 topping they up charge $4.00.

I honestly think they pulled this shit on purpose to avoid adding additional toppings….

Place also claims to have ordered in NYC tap water ro make all their crust. Very similar to what ive had in NYC.

Back to Cheese only for me…

    I doubt it. Most of the time it’s a low paid worker just slapping peps on. I’ve done the same thing at home making pizzas. But they should’ve paused and looked at the imbalance before sending it into the oven.

    It almost looks like they cut a strip straight across the pizza that trimmed a couple
    inches off the pepperoni side. Just weird looking all around.

    I have zero doubts this is a person doing their job to the best of todays abilities. Try again tomorrow. See if they still give no fucks.

    Sometimes the half with toppings slides away from the centerline. Happens more often when extra cheese is involved. I like to add cheese on top to help prevent this.

    You just got unlucky.

    I worked in 2 pizza kitchens for a combined 5 years.

    Honestly nobody is counting pepperonis and in a rush you’re just on autopilot.

    Whoever topped this just blew it and the other guy who had to cut it was also on autopilot and cut it roughly along where the pepperoni were.

    FWIW you likely only missed out on like 5 pepperonis which sucks but it’s not like, bad enough to remake the order at most places 😅

    No they wouldn’t do that. In my experience once the cheese melts the pepperonis and shift to one side. They should rearranged them a beat to even out the sides a touch
