We Explored This Abandoned Caballo Negro Mexican Italian Cuisine Restaurant. Down in southern New Jersey sits an old restaurant that has been closed for so many years that the inside has begun to fall apart and decay. I checked this place out with my good friend, Chris Stanton.

Saw some pictures of when it was open. Looked like a nice place.
Found a reddit about it. Sounds like the owner's wife died and ge closed up shop.
Crazy how deteriorated it got in about 10 years.

According to Google Maps, this was open in roughly 2012-2013 ish, so it closed sometime between 2014 – 2016, as by the next street view, in 2017-2018, it was defiantly abandoned.
The name means "black horse". Someone needs to get a big bulldozer in there and send it the rest of the way to the landfill. It's already slowly crawling there on its own.

The roof reminds me of an older Bk it might have been at one time just add on to it..and if the roof ain't leaking then it can be saved no water damage then it's cleanable..lot of work but it can be done someone should save the chairs and tables if there still good the chairs are there metal thoes are called Fan back metal restaurant chairs not cheap to buy I'd take them..but that would be a nice place to put up a indoor ice cream shop or a bakery..

Caballo means horse and is pronounced Cob-ayo cuz the two L's together always do a Y sound in Spanish.
