We walked through the door at La Casa Formoso in Northvale NJ and the smell alone stopped us cold. 😂🍕
Dean has been here 26 years and this place is the real deal. Homemade eggplant, lasagna, fish salad, fresh sausage, broccoli rabe, ravioli, pesto, and a pizza that had everyone at a loss for words. Airy crust, sauce layered sauce cheese cheese sauce the way it is supposed to be, and a Manhattan Special original to wash it down.
We also got the tuna fish on fresh seeded bread and honestly everything on the house was incredible. The prices are unreal for what you get. Ten dollars for a sandwich when you would pay double anywhere else.
This is what authentic Italian food looks like and Dean has been doing it right for 26 years. Get your asses here. Come on. 😂🤍
