2 year aged Parmesan reggiano from Italy to make a scratch Alfredo
Italian noodles
Fresh steamed broccoli
Tossed in the sauce
I didn't take a pic of it plated. It may not look like much, but it makes the olive garden taste like McDonald's and that's a win in my books. I feel bad for anyone still buying a store bought jar Alfredo 🤢
/Basic recipe
Melt half stick of quality unsalted butter. I prefer kerrigold
Use minced garlic and brown
Add 1 cups heavy whipping cream
Mix and simmer on 3/4 on skillet stirring often
Add your reggiano rind to the sauce
Once thickening and mixing well, pull from heat
Add 1 more cup of cream, stirring
Add approx 2 cups of Parm reggiano slowly mixing.
I usually eye ball it until Desired thickness or sauce.
Home made Alfredo is very easy and delicious to make! Good quality ingredients will make it taste amazing and still be cheaper than dining out!!!
