  1. Steve you know what would kick your mashed potatoes up a notch? Try a tablespoon of some garlic and herb cream cheese or some dill flavored cream cheese in your mashed potatoes. My Mom made them that way just after my Mom and Dad got married for Xmas dinner and when my Grandma remarked that my mom's potatoes were amazing and asked what she did to make them so good I'll never forget my two aunts looking at my Mom in reverance like she just got a Papal Blessing it made me laugh so hard because my Grandma taught my Mom to cook. My Mom actually tried to serve my pops potatoes in a jar and he was like "Mom teach her how to cook" so my Grandma was so surprised that my Mom's potatoes were better than hers and my Grandma always used cream cheese in her potatoes after that.

  2. I LOOOOOVE BEEF CHEEKS. So tender, gelatinous, flavorful and cheap. But it's hard to find in the city. BJs was selling it, but they stopped.

  3. I go to a supermarket all the time that has beef cheeks….now I can't remember which one it is….lol….but I wanna make this dish!
