If you’re looking for cherry blossoms in Italy, this is where you go.
In this video, I’m taking you to the Cherry Blossom Trail in Marostica, a small medieval town just outside Vicenza in Northern Italy. This easy loop trail is one of the most underrated places to experience spring in the region.
The route winds through cherry orchards, vineyards, olive groves, and quiet hillside villages, with some of the best views over the Vicenza foothills.
Trail Details:
Distance: 7–10 km
Duration: 2–3 hours
Elevation Gain: ~250 m
Difficulty: Easy
How to get there:
Parking: Parcheggio Porta Breganze
Starting point: Historic center of Marostica
Marostica is about 20 minutes from Vicenza and just over an hour from Venice, making it an easy day trip.
The best time to visit is April, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
After your walk, spend some time in Marostica—grab a gelato and take in the historic castle walls that surround the town. #solofemaletraveler #thingstodoinvenice #travel #hikingadventures #hikinginitaly #hikingtrails #vicenza #cherryblossoms
