Pizza 🍕 recipe below
No Knead Pizza
Ingredients
360ml (1½ cups) lukewarm water
1 tsp sugar
1 packet instant yeast (7g)
450g plain flour (about 3¾ cups)
1½ tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil, plus more for greasing
pizza sauce of your choice
grated Cheddar and mozzarella
toppings of your choice

-Mix the water with the sugar and yeast in a large bowl. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy, showing the yeast is active.
-Add the flour, salt and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir with a spoon until a dough forms, it should be sticky but not watery.
-Cover the bowl with a damp towel and leave the dough to rise at room temperature. You can use it as soon as it doubles in size (about 1½ hours, depending on how warm your room is) You can also refrigerate it overnight, but bring it back to room temperature before using.
-Lightly oil a large oven pan (about 42cm x 37cm) and transfer the risen dough into it. With greased hands, gently stretch and press the dough to fill the pan. Be patient here – it might seem like you don’t have enough dough but you do. (If it feels like it won’t stretch any further, leave it for 5 minutes to relax and stretch it again.) Then let the dough rest in the pan while you preheat the oven to 260°C fan or its highest setting.
-Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, sprinkle generously with Cheddar and mozzarella, and add your toppings.
-Bake for about 12 minutes, rotating the tin halfway through to ensure even cooking, until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
-Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before slicing and serving – if the oven is hot enough and you let it cool slightly, the pizza shouldn’t stick to the pan.

  1. I make a big batch of pizza dough and separate it into individual pizza sizes and freeze so the boys could make their own any time they wanted. Boys can eat a full meal about an hour after a full meal.

  2. was going to order dominos but thought i would just do this instead 3 hours later………………………

  3. We often make our own pizza cause 1/2 the time what you want on it Pizza franchises doesnt have it. Nothing beats homemade anything.

  4. You are an awesome mom. Your teenager may not appreciate it right now but when they look back on things like this, they’re gonna love you. I know this because I have four adult children and I used to do stuff like that for them all the time.

  5. That looks amazing!! Go mommy go! Cant wait to make this stuff for "my boys" one day. Serious question though, is pizza dough supposed to be that sticky?

  6. I would never use glass mixing bowls. There’s a video of a woman who mixed all her ingredients in a mixing bowl and the bowl was either to heavy and her hands may have been greasy and she picked the bowl up with one hand and spatula with the other and the bowl slipped out of her hand onto the granite counter and broke right as the dough was falling onto the counter. Everything went in the garbage. No glass bowls in my house.
