Chicken and Creamy Orzo – Another Day In Paradise

This weekend’s newsletter uses my beloved chicken supreme – a skin on chicken breast with the wing bone still attached.

It’s served over a creamy but still fresh orzo, coated in all that fond from the chicken, with spring greens, asparagus and peas folded through. A good way to use up whatever’s left after Easter.

It sits somewhere between the kind of spring cooking I’ve been wanting to do and something more comforting for these brighter, still chilly evenings.

  1. How can you be so tidy? When Im boiling an egg it looks like a meteor has destroyed my kitchen and my man is chopping and peppering in a spotless space

  2. all the ingredients i want in one bowl < in all of your dishes < everything, everywhere, all at once

  3. you always do the most unique combinations- don't often see asparagus used this way but i like the idea! Are they still fibrous and stringy or do they soften enough in the liquid?
