  1. I've made my own paneer, using lemon rather than rennet. Not sure about the pepper, but it desperately needs salt if you're going to make cheese.

  2. Milk consists of casein and whey protein. The curds are casein, the liquid is the whey. This is how you get your protein drinks, except they use an acid to separate the protein streams and then dry them into a powder. Fascinating stuff.

  4. Curious about the other veggies on this plate other than the carrots and celery. Are those apples? And then the other random at the bottom of the plate

  5. Been making curds for years. Especially nice rolled into balls, stuffed with spinach, rolled again in breadcrumbs and deep fried. Yum!
