  1. Neopolitan inspired pizza, maybe? Still looks delicious. I'd eat it. Anything you can cook on a stovetop or in an oven, you can cook with charcoal. The smokiness adds another layer.

  2. That’s a great Neapolitan pizza. Not calling it Neapolitan because they didn’t hand crush the tomatoes,added garlic, cooked it too long or didn’t use the correct type of oven(previous Neapolitan video) seems silly and comes off as pompous, elitist and arrogant.

  3. There's nothing like getting ingredients fresh from the garden. I live in a colder area of the States, but have started my basil from seed indoors this year to plant outside in a month or so. Even though the plants are smaller than my fingernail, they still have that amazing smell when you touch the leaves. Can't wait for them to be big enough to harvest!

  4. This is very beautiful cooking, as if it's made from 19th century kitchen tools!

  5. There is no problem with mixing dry yeast and salt together at the beginning. The chainbaker does it in all his bread and pizza recipes. So do I. It works perfectly every time 👌

  6. That was a pretty good looking pizza. I love garlic, so if there are chunks of it, I'm okay with it! Cowboy Kent Rollins is another chef that cooks outside on wood and charcoal. Check out his channel, it's amazing what you can do without a kitchen.

  7. Running out of content? YES, I am thát big of a fan of your videos, haha! 😉 Here's an idea: how about creating 1 video a week in which you make a type of pasta dish, but with a sauce from a different country, like a curry sauce or whatever. Of course you'd need to change the recipe/sauce a little bit for it to become tasty, but I'd watch/try it! I know this goes against all of your rules, but imo, there's no problem with it as long as you clearly state it's 100% not traditional Italian! 😉 Gordon didn't say that, did he? Well, maybe he did by calling his rainbow dish a carbonara and… oooh, I wanted o mention Mr. Onion, but he did call his sause a bolognese but everyone'd see it's actually a Onionese sauce (soup even). 😛 EDIT: Wouldn't THAT be a cool idea? Turning pasta dishes into soups? Dumb idea, but in the vein of creating a Bolognese soup with little meatballs in it and some bits of pasta that belong to soups in general (if that even exists)? 😉

    Oh and nice video, but as I said: I think I saw this one already 3 or 4 years ago. 🙂

    Would you ever make a video trying to make a good pineapple pizza? It could be funny to see the experiments

  9. If you use a small wood fired oven,
    it's s good to use a mixture of charcoal and wood. The small pieces of wood you are using in these ovens don't burn very long and the temperature can drop very quick. The charcoal always keeps a base temperature.

    But charcoal alone heats my Ooni Karu 16 up to maybe 200-250 degrees Celsius.
    You can cook a pizza but it won't be Napolitan pizza of course. It needs to cook longer and the texture, especially of the crust will be different. More dry and crunchy, with less colouring.
    I like these videos though. Already knew this channel. 😊

  10. Pineapple on pizza is the best. I mean I seen Italian people eat pizza with a knife and fork just plain wrong 😢

  11. I do not understand why Vincenzo is complenting this video left and right.
    From the get go you can tell that the whole pizza preparation is wrong.
    The dough is not smooth, and as Vincenzo said, you need to let it proof for at least 24 hours. This dough has clearly not risen enough, and as Vincenzo stated, he flattened the cornicione.The sauce is too chunky, with chunks of garlic. There is too much flour left on the pizza when it is put in the oven that will burn and cause the pizza to be bitter and a cause for a sandy texture in the mouth.
    And last but not least, the pizza from the video is not the pizza in the thumbnail.

  13. I choked on the kiwi pizza. Are you trying to top the Canadians? They were the ones the invented the "Hawaiian Pizza". Don't blame Hawaii for that catastrophe.
