free time this is when we’re going to

I didn’t even see the shower right here

hotel before look at all the little
Treats but we have to order our candy

doorbell everything in the closet be

you how did I not even realize there was

yeah I also have horrible flight anxiety
so I was very nervous about coming here
but you didn’t through your whole thing
you do I am Lauren and I just took the
most unsuccessful trip to the mall ever
I don’t know if I mentioned this but we
didn’t really pack much at all cuz we
were planning on going shopping today
and that plan didn’t pan out I should
have known better I did get a couple
things at Zara but they’re honestly just
things that I wanted for life not
necessarily this trip but I also got two
little drinks for us to have in the
hotel tonight while we get ready and
then I I got a dinner because Lauren has
like a seated dinner to go to that I’m I
don’t think I’m able to join in on so I
just got this is it a Chevy oh no no
that’s not us we’re waiting for our
Ubers sorry but I got a dinner um like a
little salad orzo situation from Italy
so that I didn’t have to do room service
all right little haul from the mall
you’re going to yell at me because look
at what I’m wearing and then look at
when I bought it Zara I bought nearly
the exact same skirt that I’m wearing
but it’s because I love the skirt I wear
it a lot but I would wear it a lot more
if it was a a little bit longer or B A
skir and this is Zara’s version It’s
like a scir asymmetrical denim skirt
situation I know I’m going to get a lot
of wear out of it because I get a lot of
wear out of this one I’m going to keep
them both but I just like that these are
shorts in the back so I’ll get more wear
out of this I got this at Zara I thought
this was a fun little bag I think you
can carry it over your shoulder like
this I mean obviously you can there’s no
one that’s going to yell at you but I
also think hear me out hear me out could
this be a little Festival backpack or
maybe it wouldn’t like necessarily be
the best look of this bag but it would
be convenient to be able to wear it like
that I have a lot of thoughts okay laen
I have a thing against backpacks okay
but like out a music festival I think it
like the tennis thing I think this would
have meant the size requirements correct
no I think it’s a great per okay we’re
justifying it because I can’t return it
so I got those two things at Zara we got
some frozen yogurt which is in my
stomach and then then we got our little
drinks and this shrimp orzo salad which
this is my dinner and this is my I don’t
even think this is a getting ready drink
at this point this is getting unready
drink because Lauren’s going out I’m
staying in I was going to go out tonight
not even go out I was just going to go
like sit at a bar and like get food by
myself but I’m so dead so shrimp orzo
salad it is and I’m going to take a
shower I’m going to get in the robe I’m
going to do some work on my computer and
I’m going to drink my classic margarita
these new glasses are kind of a jump
scare I got them in a PR packet I don’t
know if I want to pick them from my face
I grabbed them for the trip Lauren’s at
her fancy dinner I want to stay up and I
want to debrief with her afterwards but
it’s 8:00 I’m so tired we’ve been up
since like 5:00 a.m. eastern time so I’m
going to go to bed or at least I’m going
to try and go to bed I was going to say
that she might wake me when she comes in
the room but I think I’m going to sleep
like a brick tonight the doorbells
ringing I’m
scared hi hi sorry good evening would
you like your own service sure thank you
okay well she was bringing me
cookies so I’m glad I answered the door
door’s gluten-free so she can’t have
these but I will gladly eat them cookie
was a solid 9 out of 10 and now I’m
signing off woke up early to take a
meeting it was a 10:00 a.m. meeting and
then I forgot I was on West Coast time
look at my beautiful little meeting
spot I also thought the meeting was at
7:00 it’s at 7:30 so I’ve just been
sitting here and like knocking out some
emails until the meeting actually starts
but this place is stunning I also got
ready in the dark so hopefully I didn’t
miss a spot with my sunscreen it’s kind
of like chilly here in the morning it’s
not kind of it really is chilly here in
the morning but Lauren still sleeping I
would pop in and get my sweatshirt but I
don’t want to wake her up when my alarm
went off she was like what’s going on
cuz I forgot to tell her about it but I
fell asleep before she even got back so
we’ll have to debrief what type of fruit
is on these
trees are those cumquats
hey how are you guys just threw some
makeup on and got ready well I’m
actually in the same exact outfit but I
put a bag on and another necklace and
we’re going to go get coffee with Hannah
and Izzy which are two girls that we
work with that are La based so we’re
going to get coffee with them this
morning and then I think we’re near
another shopping area maybe we’ll try
our luck again we might have to go
shopping again but it’s 830 things might
not be open I
know my God

wait so excited I thought that I was
grabbing matches on the way out and then
I was like wait this is so weird because
there’s not a striker turns out I just
stole colored pencils from the children
the poor children oh they’re kind of
cool though maybe I’ll keep them use
them but how funny is that I was so
excited like I grabbed some and the
person was probably like girl the [ __ ]
like for you yeah kind of cool if you
want colored P maybe I need a colored
pencil collection maybe we’re going to
go shopping yeah round two baby I need
something we’re going to abot Kenny
though so that’s like different stores
yeah I’m feeling better Vibes I think
today better Vibes we did cancel our
Uber I called one to the store that
we’re going to and it was a Tesla and
Lauren was like I just don’t want to be
in a Tesla cuz you know they’re kind of
jerky like you have to be really good at
driving an EV or else it’s like super
jerky um so we canceled it and then she
was like I’ll just call one another
Tesla so that’s how you know you’re in
New York or that’s how you know you’re
in California when all the Ubers are
Teslas The Vibes here are I every time
I’m here which this is my second time
I’m here but I do consider moving I do
love it
here I think it’s the palm trees I just
love anywhere with palm trees like this
little strip of shops automatically
better because there’s palm trees I’m
going to guess that’s our guy
hi yes thank you I have such a good
feeling about
this oh yeah these are the Vibes wait

okay I think these are my first find oh

would look so but you don’t like yellow

situation for Stage Coach cuz I think
the house we’re staying at might have a
pool and I don’t want to like walk
around in my bikini all the time so I
wish I had shown you when I had it on
but I completely forgot this is a
goodbye we wandered into Frankie’s
Bikinis next oh my gosh this might be my
stage coach outfit fingers crossed quick
lunch at Aran Lauren got this Sushi
sandwich that I think just changed her
life it’s
I got a poppy some sushi myself and at
the last second I passed this display of
strawberries and I grabbed these
strawberries cuz they just look so good
hair’s berries guess how much these
were $15
23 this is the spicy Yellow Tail I mean
this was 15 bucks I feel like 15 bucks
for a sushi roll with like good
ingredients in it is an honest that Bast
it’s but maybe I’m brainwashed does
anyone remember the last time I came to
aan and I was tricked into buying a $130
tote bag because I remember it I’m come
to think but I can’t really I don’t know
where that toe bag is let’s try a
strawberry okay it is pretty good we’re
back in our room just had a quick
wardrobe change Lauren has a western
themed event and emphasis on Lauren
because I’m not technically invited but
we’re going to go see if I can like
sneak in I wasn’t technically invited or
on the list for the podcast thing
yesterday and then I just like walked up
with her and they let me in so we think
that might happen again today if it
doesn’t I’m just going to come back to
the room but like why not try so imagine
like you know last minute people cancel
it’s not the type of thing where there’s
like seated things like I didn’t go to
the dinner obviously cuz that’s like a
seated thing but this is ironically
enough this is with the Montana boys um
so I just want to go to witness the
filming that is their Tik toks I hope
they’ll pull one out there um I just
think it would be funny and I don’t want
to sit in the room I mean I’ll go SP byy
the pool honestly if I’m not allowed to
the event I will be by the pool getting
that salad there’s a famous salad yeah
there’s like a salad at the Beverly
Hills Hotel but the pool restaurant is
closed but I bet you if we were sitting
at the pool like we could have ordered
it to our chairs you know what I mean
that probably would have been a loophole
if we had asked for loungers did you
hear me no I was saying about the Tyler
Cameron oh yeah if we had gone and sat
by the pool they probably would have
served us by like the actual people so
loophole okay got to grab my phone off
the charger this is the only westernness
outfit that I packed just like a black
top denim skirt literally the denim
skirt that I bought yesterday and then I
have these boots with me so cutie little
outfit probably would have packed
something differently if I had known but
how cool is this top got like this
little piece that wraps up your shoulder
I found this at a store in Charleston
the day before we

so
cute it’s like look how shredded that
lettuce is like it’s crazy oh CLA this
is really
good wait look at this some of the rooms
have these little patios look at this
guy to the left on the meeting that
could be us oh yeah you can barely see
him there’s a man right there take it a
meeting you went through the other one
but look at this they had their coffee
out here morning debrief it’s our last
morning last day in La we have to leave
for the airport around noon our flight’s
at 2:30 we’re oh I guess we are checking
it back but that’s still fine like
that’s that’s plenty of time um and we
both have clear so hopefully we can get
through security quicker here although a
lot of the times when I use Clear I
literally I’m looking over at the
regular security line and I’m like this
is the same yeah you’re like this does
nothing drank way too well not too much
tequila just a lot of tequila last night
um are you like passionate about not
mixing your Liquors once you start
drinking I don’t care really I just like
I don’t you know how some people like if
they start the night drinking like vodka
or like a drink with j in it they won’t
order like aers I don’t know I really
only drink tequila and Mescal anyways
like that’s I don’t really order a lot
of other especially like vodka base
drinks M um but I just like am not a
wine girl so I think that’s the only
time that I’ve like like really felt it
is when I’ve like drank liquor drinks
and then drink wine after true and then
I’m like this is a horrible idea are you
a stickler no but I mean same like
sometimes when I feel bad in the morning
I look back and I’m like oh I guess I
did I don’t really order outside of
tequila that often if I see a drink that
I would like the flavor of except for
the liquor that it’s made with like a
gin drink that sounds really good flavor
wise it in yeah sometimes I’ll ask if
they can do tequila but also when I went
to go with a lot
I mean it’s like such a distinct flavor
that if they don’t use it it’s for a
reason is this what I look like no I
don’t know who that is like my Lord um
but we’re going to go find a cafe to
walk to from the hotel because pretty
much all of our meals have been at the
hotel we need to go eat somewhere in La
I mean the hotel has been great
obviously one of the best hotels I’ve
ever stayed at but it’s also extremely
expensive room service and stuff so
might as well get out we’re going to
didn’t they say the fries were $38 yeah
I didn’t notice that I L but I mean it’s
kind of like everything’s that expensive
so the cheaper prices look better but I
think I mean I didn’t even finish that s
did you finish your pasta yeah Lauren
and I shared the same pasta that she got
on the first day it was so last night it
was undercooked it was like it was so
much better when really when we got in
the oh when you pointed I was so hungry
and I had already had a couple drinks at
that point that like any food was going
to be delicious the one in the room was
infinitely better than that one last the
one last night was definitely
undercooked it was like Al Dente
honestly that was like I don’t know I
felt like since we weren’t we were just
like little girls that they thought we
were literally underage they didn’t
really like pay attention oh I think
they knew that we weren’t going to buy
like a bottle Don julio2 yeah no I think
that everyone else in that restaurant
last night was probably a no it was a
Wednesday that’s what I was like anyways
we got kind of weird service that’s what
we’re talking about we got kind of weird
service and then he like left in the
middle of the service and was like it’s
my dinner break I was like okay like I
have never been to a restaurant where
they have a dinner break like we didn’t
get a dinner break when I worked as a
server last outfit check again nothing
groundbreaking with my outfits on this
trip but my favorite jeans from aritzia

know what I was thinking when I pack for
this trip I’m actually like out of stock
so thank goodness really or maybe that
means I did a good job packing
OOTD I wonder where it’s from I don’t
know just a walking billboard Uber to
The Grove and we’re going to try and
find breakfast here I think we’re going
to go to La La Land if I always wanted
to go there just cuz The Branding looks
so cute their cofes look so good I know
and the now like yep uhhuh so I think
that’s what we’re going to that thing
terrified me I literally thought that
was a person oh my
gosh dang this is perfect timing cuz
everything’s opening this is giving the
only people around no literally this
Fountain everyone else is actors in
Lauren and I’s life right now I think
we’re being fil yeah is there a camera
crew this feels very dystopian it
does
what they did not have to do all that I
think can I move in
here so freaking
cute
wait look at mine it has a little cherub

yellow shut up no I’m sure it looks
ridiculous just did some damage on some
Basics at Brandy Melville and now we’re
in aloe looking at more Basics literally
I honestly I might try on the white
shorts I’ve always loved the
idea I’ve loved the idea of a white
workout set cuz I feel like with a tan
but then again my Tans are always fake
so true yeah also I like that would s me
into a yeah know the look on Lauren face
just I decided against it no it wasn’t
for you it was more for me that’s cute I
mean this shopping center is not a
Hidden Gem by any means but I do wish we
had come here earlier in our trip
because this is like shaping out to be
one of our best days and it’s only a
matter of hours before we have to be on
a plane oh I love this little dress that
has built-in pads on the top God is real
we got the mirror dressing room in a red
seat we just packed up our bags in
record time we’re technically like 3
minutes past checkout and we’re like 30
minutes past when we should have left
for the airport but it’s going to be
okay I can’t bring my ungodly expensive
strawberries with me unfortunately and
honestly upon further reflection they’re
not that good they’re not I mean I don’t
think any strawberry is worth 20 bucks
but that was a sham buy hotel room don’t
forget your phone we have to do like our
last minute sweep but I think we’ve got
everything yeah all right I think we
have everything unfortunately we can’t
like really bring that stuff home with
us which stinks but I’m honestly going
to buy that peptide cream cuz I really
like that I stole a pair of slippers
Lauren’s leaving hers and I’m wearing
some of the Brandy melal stuff that we
just bought I have like sweats my sneaks
Little White Tank and then a gray
sweatshirt off to the airport hopefully
we have time to get food before the
flight perfect
timing 37 to
Atlanta love to see this was like the
best airport timing
time to share our rose bud and thorn of
the trip this is something that my
friend Franchesca you’ve heard of this
have you heard of this yeah my friend
Franchesca always does this sorry you’re
on my backpack and now I need to get my
hand sanitizer out but Franchesca always
does this and I think it’s a fun little
way to reflect so the rose is like the
best memory or like the best thing the
bud is something that you’re looking
forward
to and the thorn is like a pain point
from the trip or your experience so I’ll
let Lauren go first The Thorn is the
what like kind of like the pain Point
well that could have gone better yeah
okay like it’s just like a thorn like
just a little something I would say not
just

wait anywh who I I would say my
rose was spending time with my lovely
Clara and our night last night I thought
yeah I got all of yesterday yeah yeah
yeah we really made a day out of
yesterday like fully mhm um Thorn would
probably be when I had to go to dinner
without you I guess all my things have
to do with you and then my bud is all
the new friends we met oh that’s a good
and I’m excited to see where those
relationships
Blossom bud bud if you
may my rose would be honestly like the
hotel and just like how surreal of like
an experience that was like staying
there it’s so iconic that was definitely
one of many roses
Thorn would honestly be like the length
of the trip like compar yeah like short
and like compared to the time change and
stuff I feel like today I probably would
have been like actually energetic like
into the evening and of course that’s
the day we’re leaving so that’s kind of
a thorn is like I feel like just when I
was starting to adjust and feel like
normal and like today was so fun like if
we had been able to stay at the RO
longer like we didn’t go to the candy
store we want to go too like that’s the
that’s my and Bud is this makes me so
excited for Stage Coach like it just
makes me like now I’m just so excited
that we’re literally doing this again in
two week weeks skinny Legend
be closed I hate when a uh when a flight
lands so late that there’s no food open
in the
airport so I’ve got L more lemonade and
popcorn
