This recipe can be found in Marcella Hazan’s “Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking”.

Ingredients:
-3/4 pound bacon
-1 onion
-2 tsp of garlic
-1 cup of celery
-salt
-pepper
-half a can of plum tomatoes
-4 tablespoons of olive oil
-half a cup of grated cheese
-water (for soup & keep hydrated)
-4 tbsp of parley
-2 cups of lentils
-1 pack of pasta BABY

Number 19 & feeling HOT (hot meaning I have a fever). So, what better day than today to make lentil soup? My wife gave me this fever and I gave her this beautiful soup. This is an unbalanced relationship if I’ve ever seen one. That being said, this soup really tasted great & is perfect for the winter time.
