  1. I hit up a store or two when I was in Venice, Florence, and Rome last year. No luck but had a great time drinking red wine and enjoying the cuisine. Although a pub in Venice did have Buffalo trace at €4 a pour and they were free handing them bad boys to like half a rocks glass

  2. That store is actually an amazing store, it's super cool inside, with a very good selection. And Italy is actually a country where you can get a very decent selection of whiskies, in even many smaller stores. As an American in Europe, we take what we can get.
Keep in mind that all those Bourbons and Canadians are coming from way over there. So, it would cost more to ship it over. Also, prices have gone up very considerably in the past couple of years.
The selection and prices for Scotch and Irish are very good and much better and cheaper than you'd pay in the US. Go figure.

  3. I recently found a huge grocery store in Milan that had 8-10 dust covered Eagle Rare for €39. Cheaper than a lot of liquor stores in MI.

  4. You can find the Signature Craft here in the states…I have a bottle of the 11yr soft red wheat that is pretty good stuff

  5. Funny to see the Kentucky Spirit priced below BevMo. In Florence ffs. If you take the conversion rate into account BevMo charges $5 more. Lulz.

  6. I got a Yellowstone tube. I think they only did it the first year or first release. I had Steve Beam sign it last Sept. He was up here for a bottle release.

  7. Interestingly, Bulliet is really popular and readily available in Central America and the Caribbean as well. At least in Guatemala, El Salvador and the DR…

  8. @The Bourbon Wrench The European Union right now has a 50% tariff on American whiskey due to us having a tariff on there whiskey.

  9. You sure that Rare Breed wasnt the Traveler Exclusive, Non-chill Filtered? I think $100 for that bottle is fair, as it is FANTASTIC.

  10. Yea hunting in Europe was interesting. Plus it’s all in euros so conversion makes it even worse. Fun video. Congrats. Cheers

  11. I would have picked up the JB 12 year just because it isn’t something we see over here but the other prices make no sense. And I’d be drinking Bulliet when in Italy. Just saying.

  12. Cool, Trev! We fly one week from tomorrow to Italy! Two days each in Venice, Florence, and Rome before getting on the ship for 10 days throughout the western Mediterranean. This just builds the excitement!

  13. The Jim Beam Signature Craft 12yr is a great bottle. Killed one at a bar in St. Thomas with my uncle a while back. I'd pick one up at that price if I was randomly in Florence haha

  14. The prices in this video are in Euros. The conversion rate at this time was $1.08 for every 1 euro. For instance, the 120 euro bottle would’ve actually cost me $130. It’s pretty negligible on smaller purchases, but adds up over larger purchases!

I didn’t explain this for simplicity sake as I feel like the fact of the matter remains the same; some of these prices are dang expensive! Cheers to economics nerds!

  15. In Paris i found Weller 12 for like 45-50 euros. In Germany i bought Eagle Rare for like 35 euros/37 dollars .

  16. Bulliett is owned by Diageo so it is in every country. You'll find JD and Bulliett in every shop everywhere. It was the only "decent" bourbon I found in Chile

  17. When I was in Northern Italy in the cities of Cogne and Courmayeur, all I could find was thr JD Single barrel select. Which turned out to be pretty good select bottles. I think they were 60-65 Euros like you saw
