Torino in Italian and it’s the center of a lot of Industry especially car industry for example Fiat is just down the road here and other manufacturers like lancha yes it’s actually pronounced lancha not Lancia and other companies like pinina and Ico baton Gia juaro all based in this area it’s also full of

Museums and art galleries and big churches big patas and amazing galleries like this one now not a lot of people know this but the 1969 Italian Job movie with Michael K was filmed in this city okay that’s my really bad Michael Kane impersonation I really should try a

Bit harder Michael if you’re listening I apologize now the Min actually drove through here on this marble floor it’s quite amazing if you’ve never seen the movie you have to see it it’s still the most popular British movie ever made and the locations that they chose here in

The city and in the Alps around are a big part of that as the reason why it’s still so popular the house I want to show you today was built by people from Torino and they built it about 20 years ago and they spent €3 million EUR

Building this house and the place is just Immaculate it’s like it was built last week and they’re asking only around1 million EUR for this place now they’ve retired and they’ve bought themselves a big huge camper van and they plan on traveling for the rest of their days and so don’t need the house

They have an apartment here in chin as well so what we’re going to do is finish up here I’m going to finish my coffee of my cron and then we’ll go to the car and I’ll tell you more about it and give you a proper video tour of the house when

We’re there and I promise you you’re going to be blown away by this place I’ll have to go on a diet tomorrow but life is good so I’m here in the south of the city in the south of chin at the iconic palella building now this building was

Built in the early 60s for an exhibition but then was used in the 2006 Winter Olympics that were held here in churin but more famously certainly for me and probably every other Brit is its use in the film The Italian Job because those three mines and a couple of Alphas

Actually drove on that roof which was an incredible stunt and made it a an icon and uh it’s a convenient place to park here because parking in the city like any other City not so convenient you have to pay quite a lot of money and then you’re stressed about getting back

On time whereas here you can just leave leave your car here for free you can take the metro station which is just up the road here take the metro into the city center or a bus and so it’s really convenient and what we’re going to do

Now is take the 15minute drive by aada just up the road here and then 15 minutes on ordinary road to the house so about half an hour and what I’ll do I’ll tell you something more about this incredible house along the way and then we’ll get to actually see the house and

Make a tour of it so let’s jump in the car and get moving now the road that I’m on now this takes us to the house and if we stay on this road we’re going to hit Rony bolognia San Marino Venice Venice in 5 hours from here on this road people ask

Me why do I live in Italy in the other direction you’ve got the ski resorts either west of here or north of here 90 minutes and you’re in Bia one of the more popular ski resorts and there are many others you’ve got the famous wine areas

Right on your doorstep half an hour and you’re in bolo 15 minutes you’re in the roero wine area same distance to the moner right on your doorstep so this makes it geographically a fantastic place to be and then you have the lakes lake AA major Koo is not so far you can

Go and visit George Clooney on the weekend this could be a really good alternative to buying an apartment in the city for the price you’ll pay for a small apartment you can have this fantastic house or if you just need a vacation home or if you want to live

Here permanently again it’s a fantastic place to be so for all these reasons this house is really very special so geographically is really quite fantastic so we’re on this road for about 15 minutes and then we’re going to uh drive another 15 minutes also on ordinary
