This rustic Italian beef cassle features tender chunks of beef slowly cooked to Perfection soaking up all the flavors from the red wine and aromatic carbs the prep is a dole you can use up loads of random veg that you may have lying about in the fridge yet it makes a perfect
Centerpiece for a family dinner serve it with rice or potatoes or simply in a bowl with some crusty bread it’s a delicious cash all that promises satisfaction with every bite sounds good this is how you make it one of the best things about this Castel is the amount
Of flexibility you’ve got with what veggies you’re using now I typically make most castels with a stick of celery an onion and some carrots so that’s what I’m doing for this along with a green pepper but you can use cett mushrooms orine whatever you’ve really got lying
Around in the fridge anyway you want to heat a large ovenproof dish with some oil in it and fry those veggies for a couple of minutes until they start to soften add your garlic and fry for a further 30 seconds or so and then to that you’re going to add in a large
Glass of red wine and let that Reduce by about a third that just allows the alcohol to burn off but still leaves the delicious Red Wine flavor then add your lean beef along with your stock and 30 G of cornflour make sure you make some water into the cornflour first so it
Doesn’t go clumpy when you add it with the hot stock add a tablespoon of mixed herbs 1/ teaspoon of salt plenty of grins of black pepper and then finally just a tablespoon of tomato pury mix all that so it’s nicely combined pop the lid
On it stick in the oven about 160 for 3 hours and at this point the video would be great if you could hit that like button nothing to do with ego just helps with the growth of the channel means more people will see this video then
After 3 hours move from the oven plate it up and serve it with crusty bread or rice or potatoes or it’s just delicious whatever you do and then garnish with some in GRE plenty of black pepper and then just get stuck in so there we have our delicious rustic

Looks amazing !Can this be cooked in a slow cooker? Thanks
Food for fitness not in the app store, it doesn't download from this page
Oh will try this in the slow cooker.
How do I substitute an oven for a slow cooker?
If the recipe calls for slow cooker setting, then divide the cooking time by 4. Eight hours on low then becomes 2 hours in the oven at 160 ÂşC. For high, divide the cooking time by 2. Six hours on the high then becomes 3 hours in the oven
Just Google it
What is the equivalent oven temperature for a slow cooker?
The low setting of a slow cooker ranges from 190°F to 200°F. To mimic this in an oven, set your temperature to approximately 325°F. The high setting of a slow cooker ranges from 290°F to 300°F; in oven terms, this is roughly equivalent to 375°F.
I’m confused-this recipe is for the oven
