Let me show you one of the most delicious ways to cook your muscles always start out with a good rinse to get out any sand or soot then you sort through them looking for any dead muscles you’ll know if they’re dead if the shell is left open also remove any

Beards those aren’t Pleasant to eat so give one more quick rinse and get over to the stove drop these in about an inch of boiling water cover with a lid and about a minute to a minute and a half they should be done you can remove them from the heat

At this point and strain them if you’d like you can even use part of this water is part of the broth this is my garlic butter and wine broth and I pour that right over the top of all these muscles as soon as they’re cooked we’re talking
