The Wine Lover’s Guide to a PERFECT Day in CHIANTI CLASSICO

Today Iā€™m in Tuscany, Italy and more specifically in the famous Chianti Classico winemaking region. Follow me throughout my day as I visit a local market, wine fair, a restaurant, the famous Antinori winery, taste wine and prepare a local specialty – Bistecca alla Fiorentina A.K.A. Florentine steak.

  1. What an amazing day!!! I dream of one day taking a trip there. I really enjoy Chianti Classico, and it's definitely one of my favorite wines. Thank you for your inspiration.

  2. Another wonderful video. Totally with you on popping into the city for a bit then retreating to nature. And that steak! Cooked to perfection (for my taste). Kinda jealous, not gonna lie. haha. šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³šŸ„©šŸ·

  3. Research; life on the road: tough work! Thanks for the great content. We have travelled to Chianti recently, via a bottle…can deliver some great value for money.

  4. Gorgeous area to visit, even if only on the road! The heart of Italian winemaking, truly. Heads up though about bistecca alla Fiorentina – it's not a cheap treat, especially at a restaurant!

  5. "Internet Historian 2 Fancy 2 Furious: Wine" Here on YT If you want a wine relevant laugh. He's doing some info as well in there, but too basic for this crowd. It's funny though šŸ˜€

  6. Never made a bistecca alla fiorentina myself, but if you want to cook large meats over fire/coals then you have to flip it constantly, like every 30-40 seconds. It's a difficult process and takes some time to master.Just judging from what i've seen. Yours was overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Practice makes perfect and well done you for trying. Very adventurous.

  7. Great video! Thanks so much for getting those shots of the spectacular architecture at the Antinori winery. That was amazing!

I have a non-related wine question if you have the time. I'm still pretty new to wine, and recently have been reading a bit about Amarone della Valpolicella and how it's often called a "meditation wine" because some people prefer to drink it without pairing it with food. How do you decide when a wine is best appreciated by itself instead of paired with food?

    Thanks so much!

  8. Nitardi seems amazing, the property that is, I hope to get there someday. Iā€™ve had several of their winesā€¦.just lovely and beautiful labels.
