Italy – Spaghetti Bolognese:

Ingredients:

400g ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
400g canned tomatoes, crushed
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup red wine
Salt and pepper to taste
400g spaghetti
Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:

In a large pan, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Pour in the red wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Add the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper.
Simmer the sauce for at least 1 hour on low heat.
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
Serve the Bolognese sauce over the cooked spaghetti and top with Parmesan cheese.
