Alfredo spaghetti pasta:

Ingredients:

8 oz (about 225g) spaghetti

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the heavy cream to the melted butter and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream mixture, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Remember that Parmesan is salty, so be cautious with the amount of salt you add.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly with the Alfredo sauce.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring gently, to heat the pasta through.

Serve the Alfredo spaghetti hot, garnished biwith chopped parsley if desired.
