Biggest SINGAPORE FOOD Festival!! Padang Burrito, Laksa Goreng + Stingray Steak & More!

This is the SINGAPORE FOOD FESTIVAL 2023. This year marking its 30th anniversary, this is Singapore’s BIGGEST annual food festival’s festival village and today I’m here to try some incredible food and drinks. Let’s explore the SFF together. I will be sampling heritage foods with innovative twists like Good Grace’s fried laksa Goreng and Rumah Makan Minang’s Padang Burrito. Contemporary offerings from Blue Smoke like their Smoked and Grilled Stingray Steak. Sustainable Soy Based Wine from Sachi as well as, homemade family-recipe desserts from Yat Ka Yan. It doesn’t end at the festival village, there are also workshops around Singapore like Munchi Pancake’s Min Jiang Kueh workshop I tried out!

Singapore food scene is more than just a meal it’s an experience. That’s why today I’m also taking you for the ultimate farm-to-table dining experience at Scaled by Ah Hua Kelong. A floating seafood farm supplying fresh farmed fish and more from the waters surrounding Singapore to its Asian-fusion restaurant Scaled in the heart of Singapore.

Singapore Food Festival is happening NOW from July 19-30, 2023. Thank you to the Singapore Tourism Board for sponsoring today’s episode.

  1. I wonder how people in Padang (West Sumatra, Indonesia) feels about having Nasi Padang inside a burrito 🤣 BTW if the chef is ethnically Minangkabau, he’d know better than to call that thing ‘rendang’ as it barely even looks like a ‘kalio’ being so wet 😢

  2. That Pancake is also a traditional dessert in Taiwan. I used to eat it when I was a child.

Min Jiang Kueh is also its Taiwanese pronunciation. It’s amazing. Now I finally know why it has that name!

That ice cream dessert appeals to me, it looks healthy and delicious!

Thank you for taking us to SINGAPORE FOOD FESTIVAL 2023, great job! 👍🤩🙏
    P. S. In fact, Taiwan took a very interesting name from its pronunciation: pancakes without frying. In fact, Min Jiang is a river in Fujian, which should be its birthplace; Kueh is cake.
Those who have studied phonetics and Taiwanese should understand what I said more easily!

  3. Is it or me or is Luke really handsome? 👀 his blue eyes are like… damn. Imma flying to Canada to find me a man like him.

  4. I would not be wearing my J's while working on that floating restaurant/seafood farm. Maybe he makes way too much money and dont care if he ruins his Jordans. 😂😂

  5. my best bro luke looking handsome thank you for your huge respect against cpec friendship countries lot of love from your best bro viki 🍻

  6. Hi Luke! It was such a good & interesting video! Visiting that fish & seafood farm must have been interesting!
I think that mussels curry at the restaurant looked good. I would have loved to try it even though I don't like mussels.
Thank you and your videos are great! Best wishes from Scandinavia!

  7. I'm confused with the pricing…even after exploring their website😐 Does a entry, premium and/or premium just include drinks and entry only? Does one buy food from the vendors individually?

  8. Everything looked so amazing but omg that last meal….. 🥰 I need to try that Squid Ink Chawan Mushi 🤤

  9. you made a mistake. singapore is a food haven, lots of good food around, but you chose to go to this fair which doesnt accurately represent our food

  10. Not often that I hear of someone who has the same seafood allergy as myself. Exactly as he described his allergy!

  11. Everything looked delicious. I'm ready for dinner…. won't be as delicious as the items you tried in this video. Thanks for sharing.

  12. I liked it when he said … " hmmm… it is like concentrated prawn pasta. .." "and…" on to the next dish……. I think he didn't quite like the prawn dish. =)
