⚓️ 🌊 Cooking School is in session! My wife and I love cooking together, especially using some of my Italian date night recipes. I am a proud Italian American, and LOVE to eat Italian food with my own spin on it. Back when I was a Salty Chef, some of my crew’s favorite meals were when I’d pull out my grandma’s recipes. One of the craziest moments on my ship in the U.S. Coast Guard was when I served about 30 detainees my Grandma’s Italian chicken recipe….probably the best meal they’ve ever eaten.
I’ll be cooking up some lentil mushroom bolognese, lemon garlic chicken, roasted Italian branzino, and garlic knots. This whole meal shouldn’t take you longer than 1 hour if you time it right, which I’ll teach you how to do in this episode. Timing is critical to cooking, especially when feeding a couple hundred salty sailors like I used to do…but also especially when you have a cranky family waiting to eat!
