The founder and head chef is Enrico Crippa.ย
He opens Piazza Duomo in 2005, and within one year, he has the first Michelin star.
He gets the second in 2009 followed by the third in 2011.
Piazza Duomo is also a regular on the worldโs 50 Best Restaurant list.
At the time of shooting this video, they stood at number 19.
In 3 hours, Chef Crippa and Piazza Duomo raised the bar and put on a show, and in my opinion, this is probably the best restaurant in Italy.

Your videos are by far the best on YouTube when it comes to high end dining. Well well done Alexander, keep the great work up! Would love to share a meal with you one day ๐
Can you tel us how much cost wine per glas?
For some reason, I find this cheesy. Not the video, not the review, but this kind of restaurant.
If it's possible can you post more videos..
I hope you will get to Japan someday, that would be amazing
What an amazing dining experience
I've been and I agree it is one of the best restaurants in the world.. but having done all the top 3 Michelin in Italy, I would recommend you try Niko Romito as I believe he is the best, ahead of Crippa, then Bartolini.. my two cents
It is funny to read on the receipt โGRATUITY NOT INCLUDEDโ, when here in Italy there is not the custom as in US to leave โmandatoryโ gratuity at the end of the meal! Here you leave it only in extraordinary cases when you are really impressioned by the service or food. But I think that something like that, that I would define as โtrying to deceive touristsโ(considering also the high prices of everything, here the total is more than 2k) in a TOP restaurant awarded with 3 Michelin stars, SHOULD NOT happen!
Great job, clear detailed showing of the plates, great explination , one of your bests, thank you
Beautiful video as always!
Anyone notice Alexโs attire today has been inspired by the waiters in the restaurant. Nice touch
Crippa is a genius
Little question! What should we wear in a Michelin star restaurant when the weather is really hot? Suit is too hot for me
Those courses with many small dishes sure look like they're an Italian take on Kaiseki Ryori. Looks like a lot of fun to discover everything.
ALEXANDER THE GREAT. MOAR MOAR MOAR!
Hello ๐ sir
May I ask you about red wine which one is the good and best please tell the mark model like chateaux โฆ Parvie โฆ
Thanks๐
id rather just eat dominos looks shit
By far Master Class in dining evaluation, bravo ๐
Finally a taste of luxury
Waiters in tailored quality suits take things to the next level. A proper attire is so underestimated among top restaurants.
This channel is growing quite impressively! Well done!
These Personal is awsome
Considering quality of the reviews and the video itself itโs worth renaming channel to โAlexander The Greatโ
I dined here last April and did the Barolo menu. It was exceptional. The staff were so friendly and welcoming!
