Probably The BEST Restaurant in Italy – Piazza Duomo (Enrico Crippa)

The founder and head chef is Enrico Crippa.
He opens Piazza Duomo in 2005, and within one year, he has the first Michelin star.
He gets the second in 2009 followed by the third in 2011.

Piazza Duomo is also a regular on the world’s 50 Best Restaurant list.
At the time of shooting this video, they stood at number 19.

In 3 hours, Chef Crippa and Piazza Duomo raised the bar and put on a show, and in my opinion, this is probably the best restaurant in Italy.

  1. Your videos are by far the best on YouTube when it comes to high end dining. Well well done Alexander, keep the great work up! Would love to share a meal with you one day 😊

  2. For some reason, I find this cheesy. Not the video, not the review, but this kind of restaurant.

  3. I've been and I agree it is one of the best restaurants in the world.. but having done all the top 3 Michelin in Italy, I would recommend you try Niko Romito as I believe he is the best, ahead of Crippa, then Bartolini.. my two cents

  4. It is funny to read on the receipt “GRATUITY NOT INCLUDED”, when here in Italy there is not the custom as in US to leave “mandatory” gratuity at the end of the meal! Here you leave it only in extraordinary cases when you are really impressioned by the service or food. But I think that something like that, that I would define as “trying to deceive tourists”(considering also the high prices of everything, here the total is more than 2k) in a TOP restaurant awarded with 3 Michelin stars, SHOULD NOT happen!

  5. Anyone notice Alex’s attire today has been inspired by the waiters in the restaurant. Nice touch

  6. Little question! What should we wear in a Michelin star restaurant when the weather is really hot? Suit is too hot for me

  7. Those courses with many small dishes sure look like they're an Italian take on Kaiseki Ryori. Looks like a lot of fun to discover everything.

  8. Hello 🎉 sir
May I ask you about red wine which one is the good and best please tell the mark model like chateaux … Parvie …
    Thanks🎉

  9. Waiters in tailored quality suits take things to the next level. A proper attire is so underestimated among top restaurants.

  10. I dined here last April and did the Barolo menu. It was exceptional. The staff were so friendly and welcoming!
