Have I learned anything after several years of “studying” Italian food with Eva? In today’s video, she challenged me to cook three classic Italian dishes: fettuccine all’Alfredo, pollo alla cacciatora, and tiramisù. The only catch? I’m not allowed to use ANY recipes.
If you enjoy this video, please give it a thumbs-up and subscribe to the channel!

I'm curious how many of you cook without following recipes? I've always been so dependent on them on the rare occasions when I cook… this really pushed me out of my comfort zone!
From cooking school to comedy class 😅😂😂❤❤❤
Bravi, bellissimo episodio! E poi adesso chef Alfredo è stato definitivamente soppiantato dal cuoco Harper.😂
Sheer delight! I was getting out my jeweler's saw to make you a new stainless fitting for the pasta machine! Why do i know exactly what you broke in the sucker?! 😅
LOL, Harpers face, "whats your plan for dinner"😅
Eva made a miracle 😍
I love you both so much the way communicate with each other and with your chat viewers, the recipes and good knowledge that you share. You guys are absolutely amazing❤ however Harper always put me back on my heel every time I see him wearing a hat in the house. Not in the intro but throughout the entire video. Is that okay Italian etiquette? ❤
dude. she is a good cook. for italian. henpecked sucks though. think about it.
This was rigged, the judge is sleeping with the contestant lmao
I have a question, what do you serve the pollo alla cacciatora with? mash potato? bread?
im in minute 7 … its pain …. so much pain ….
I recently found out your channel while looking for vegetable recipes and immediately fell in love with the dishes and subscribed!

@ 19:18 You didn't salt the water, did you?… 😉
Nice job, Harper!! If Eva says it's good….Bravo!
Idea for next travel to/from Italy
We seen you compare Italy and USA McDonald's but maybe some other ones?
Does USA have any chain service station you could compare to Italy autogrill store/restaurant?
I haven't used a recipe in years.
Well done Harper!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
so fun to watch!! yall are cute.
great job… ! but no veggies??
Ma il licuore di caffe,lo hai dimenticato i pure il zuchero in caffe😂😂😅
Harper you have inspired me to make a Tiramisu like dessert. I can not have coffee. I am allergic. I am also lactose intolerant however I
Will use that ingredient. I will substitute Apple cider instead. I will use maple syrup or honey instead. Perhaps mix in some almond whip cream.
In France, we say "chercher les poils aux œufs" like "looking for hair on eggs" ! I ear your Ava !
Fantastic cooks Harper!
That Tiramisu looked absolutely fantastic!
This was really fun to watch and good job Harper!
Presto a Vibo Valentia…. Trattorie da Harper, vera cucina calabricana…😂😂😂
How about you make this a series and at some point Harper has to cook something Italian for Eva's parents? Now THAT would make for some quality content!
👏👏👏 im so impressed !
Bravo Harper! Great video!
Maybe Harper should get a French press. You pour nearly boiling water on top of grounds, wait 4 minutes and press down. IKEA makes a really good French press.
From what I gather, most Italians cook with their instincts and use their senses rather than using a recipe. I learned how to cook by watching my Sicilian grandmother and mother. They never used recipes, or measurements, and I followed suit. They cooked by "feel" or "by eye." Whenever I had questions, they would say, like this and just show me rather than explain it. They basically just did it and I watched and gauged with my eyes. Or they would say, not too little or not to much. You just see. I don't know maybe Italians just naturally have photographic memories and we just catch on that way? lol I will, however, follow baking recipes or some meals where I am not familiar with from other cuisines. I usually only use the recipe once or twice to "get the feel of it." It's great because it trained me to be very visual, and I have so many memories of watching and cooking with Grandma and Mom.
Congratulations Harper! High praise from Eva! It looked wonderful!
Bravissimo Harper!!!!!🎉
Cooks has to eat their mistakes, surgeons simply bury theirs…😂
Shocked to see you keep eggs in the fridge.
Great job, Harper! Could you guys make stuffed Sicilian flatbread, I think it’s called scacce but there are different spellings. I saw one on Food Wishes and it looked amazing, but I’d love to see Eva’s take on it before I give it a try. Love to you both ❤️!
