This recipe is a classic Italian dessert that is perfect for any occasion, from simple family dinners to fancy dinner parties.

Ingredients:

– 2 whole oranges (preferably organic)
– 6 eggs
– 1 cup sugar
– 2 cups almond flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. Rinse the oranges and boil them in a pot of water for about 1 hour or until they are soft.

3. Remove the oranges from the pot and let them cool.

4. Cut the oranges into chunks, remove any seeds, and place them in a food processor or blender.

5. Blend the oranges until they become a smooth puree.

6. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.

7. Add the almond flour and baking powder to the mixing bowl and mix well.

8. Add the orange puree to the mixing bowl and mix well.

9. Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) cake pan with butter or cooking spray.

10. Pour the cake batter into the cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

11. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

12. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

13. Turn the cake out onto a wire rack and let it cool completely before serving.
