An Italian delegation placed a symbolic bottle among the collection of rare wines at the major Crimean Massandra winery in Yalta, Saturday.
The delegation, led by the Director of the Chamber of Commerce of the Veneto region of Italy, Gian Angelo Bellati and President of Cantina di Soave winery, Attilio Carlesso, personally placed a bottle of wine made from Italian Sangiovese grapes of the 2015 harvest, in storage at the Massandra winery, with the date and their signatures on it.
SOT, Yanina Pavlenko, Director General of Massandra winery (Russian): “The Massandra production received a lot of interesting proposals, and we are now waiting for an official request from the Presidential Affairs Office to consider those proposals and take a decision about further possible cooperation.”
SOT, Gian Angelo Bellati, Director of the Chamber of Commerce of Veneto region (Italian): “We know that our businessmen do not want these sanctions and consider them to be very negative. Therefore, we do everything possible to overcome this difficult moment and to succeed in our mutual work.”
