Royal Caribbean’s Windjammer Restaurant on the newest and biggest cruise ship in the world Wonder of the Seas. As new passengers join the ship from Italy half way through our cruise starting from Spain this is a new feature of Royal Caribbeans offerings. The Windjammer offers almost constant food and great quality but we have seen certain element change over our 30 years of cruising with RCI. I must say that some of the Asian food in the Windjammer is head and shoulders above the standard and taste found in the main dining room and I did point this out to the staff. The downside of the Windjammer is that is gets absolutely packed and jammed. On one occasion we walked straight back out as by design the ship causes a bottle neck after walking in and, well it is frantic at best at busy times. the staff are always great and helpful and the officers always willing to listen to feedback as always.
