Sesamo is a unique Italian restaurant that blends Asian flavors to create something unique in Manhattan, NY and more specifically they’re located in Hell’s Kitchen. Sesamo adds a twist to traditional recipes and introduce a new flavor for food enthusiasts everywhere. At Sesamo we wanted to represent the diverse culture that Hell’s Kitchen is made of. We wanted to become the epitome of diverse culture.
We’ve taken food fusion to a whole new level and combine Italian with Asian cuisine. We still offfer the traditional Italian dishes you’ve grown to love, we’ve just added some zing to our menu with a diverse selection of Italian and Italian asian fusion dishes. Using ingredients and flavors that blend together perfectly, our 5 star chef Sandy Hall has managed to put together an intriguing Italian Asian fusion menu that is filled with delicious surprises.
Our menu is inspired by traditional flavors of Italy being that Italy is praised for basically inventing food that is so good it’s know all the way around the world, and they had very few ingredients to work with. Our chef thought it would be brilliant to introduce a little more flavor to the Italian recipes he’s loved by adding a touch of asian seasons, AND HE WAS RIGHT! The dishes that were invented were magic and we decided to change the name of our restaurant (formerly Crispins Restaurant) and reinvent the entire experience with these new Italian Asian Fusion dishes.
To add, our drink menu is an extraordinary mix of brilliant beverages to get you you tipsy. Our mixologist Russell Pangilinan is one of the best and has put together a list of mixed drinks and craft cocktails that are really good. We’ve been rated one of the best Italian wine bars in NYC and we provide an experience everyone can enjoy.
With the seasons’ change so does our menu. We try to offer something unique and special with every season of the year and give our guest an enjoyable dining experience all year long. Also frequently check our events that we have weekly and monthly. We have everything from an 8-course chef tasting even where you can try many of the flavors and dishes we have to offer here at Sesamo. Or we have a drag show every Sunday for Brunch.
