Sailing the Amalfi Coast of Italy, Visiting Herculaneum & Capri Island's Super Yacht Anchorage! #54

Sailing from the Aeolian Islands of Vulcano and Stromboli we head north to the Amalfi Coast of Italy – one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe… and hopefully you’ll see why. We try the street food of Amalfi Town (pizza and ice-cream obviously!) and visit a paper making museum. We then sail on towards the island of Capri, crowded with Super Yachts and dripping with ostentatious wealthy and expensive shops!

Next we take a sail to Naples, but find the moorings too expensive so anchor in a dodgy part of town before taking a train to Herculaneum (Pompeii’s sister town) to see what became of the population when Vesuvius erupted in 79AD – we didn’t expect to find actual skeletons.. but we did!
