Making the Italian Version of a TIM HORTONS DONUT – Italianized

Hello Friends,

Here is a new recipe for you! We made the Italian version of a Tim Hortons donut! Pistachio and chocolate fillings with pistachio and chocolate glazes!

DONUT INGREDIENTS:
1 cup (250 ml) whole milk warmed
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
3 tablespoons of butter melted and cooled
1 large egg
1/4 cup (60 g) sugar
2 tsp salt
3 cups (370 g) all purpose flour
vegetable oil for frying

PISTACHIO FILLING:
375 ml whole milk
135 g sugar
pinch of salt
36 g egg yolks
50 g cornstarch
50 g pistachio paste

CHOCOLATE FILLING:
50 g dark chocolate
1 tsp vanilla
70 g sugar
1 pinch salt
250 g whole milk
36 g egg yolks
23 g cornstarch

PISTACHIO GLAZE
150 g white chocolate
40 ml whole cream
40 g pistachio cream

CHOCOLATE GLAZE
150 g dark chocolate
70 g sugar
120 ml water
