In the mood for a great Italian meal? Bocca Cucina was our choice for a relaxed evening out with friends. Reservations were for 7:30 and we were welcomed at the entrance with a smile, temperature check, and hand sanitizer. The atmosphere is Italian-modern with marble countertops and excellent mood lighting. The Sipping and Tasting crew was ready to be wowed with our food selections for the evening. Bocca Cucina has a great wine list which we all had our choice of warm earthy reds of Merlot and Malbecs. Our menu choices for the evening ranged from Prosciutto Di Parma, plates of pasta, lamb, veal, and desserts. The waiter was amazing, very accommodating with a great sense of humor. There was a special request for a nice cocktail with dinner. Our very knowledgeable waiter bought over a refreshingly fruity aroma of the select cocktails that were delicious. I had a delightful indulgence of Cheese Cake with a fabulous berry sauce for a perfect ending to an exquisite meal. We will return to this Great Italian find tucked away on East 19th Street.
