Ingredients for cooking baked Italian sausage and potatoes from scratch:
1) 3 kg/100 oz of potatoes
2) 2 kg/70 oz of fresh sausage links (Italian sausages)
3) 5-6 garlic cloves or to taste
4) salt and ground pepper to taste
5) 1 tsp of dried thyme or rosemary
6) 1 l/35 fl oz of beef/chicken stock or water

How to make baked sausage links and potatoes step by step:

0:21:00 – step 1: peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces that you put in the tray
0:30:00 – step 2: peel the garlic and cut it into slices that you put over the potatoes
0:40:00 – step 3: season with salt and pepper to taste
0:49:00 – step 4: sprinkle thyme or dried rosemary
0:56:00 – step 5: pour the beef stock into the pan
1:04:00 – step 6: put foil on the tray and put it in the oven at 180C/360F for about 30 min
1:11:00 – step 7: remove the foil, lay the sausages over the potatoes, and place the tray in the oven at 250C/390F for about 15 minutes
1:30:00 – step 8: flip the sausages in the tray and bake them until golden brown
