If you’re bored with.fast food, but don’t have much time to cook, here’s a stunning surprise for you: the true essence of an Italian pizza, is ready in less than four minutes (actually, he did it in 9 seconds)! The chef is Guglielmo Vuolo, from Naples, the motherland of the most famous Italian gastronomic icon. He owns a pizzeria in the suburbs of Verona, where we had the opportunity to discover what happens behind the scenes. He teaches us some secrets to make the dough at its best, as for example the use of the fists, of the flours and of many other magical things. He makes the big classic, pizza Margherita, as if he was playing his favourite sport, but without the competition (he knows he’s one of the best in town!)
As our personal translator said, the first step to make a “Pizza Margherita” is to mix 1 gram of yeast with 1 liter of water, and then…here below is the complete recipe!
1 liter of water
1g of yeast
500g flour
a little bit of salt
500g of semi-wholewheat flour
Tomato sauce
Parmigiano cheese
Fresh basil
Fresh mozzarella
