The variety of ground meats in these classic Italian meatballs combined with grated cheese, breadcrumbs and the addition of pesto with a touch of marinara sauce make these meatballs super flavorful! The meatballs are baked instead of sautéed and then added to the sauce. This makes this Meatball recipe super simple and cuts down on added fat. The clean up is also a breeze! I use Dell’Amore Marinara sauce since it’s so close to my own homemade recipe for Marinara Sauce. That cuts out a whole separate recipe and saves me so much time!
