I’m traveling across America to find every single local style of pizza! Today, we’re at Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Youngstown, Ohio for Brier Hill Style Pizza!
In Ventura California there is a restaurant called Settebello that specializes in pizza Napoletana. It’s SO GOOD! And if you decide to go, you gotta try the chili olive oil. It’s the best.
Interesting pie, I've never seen this type previously.
A local variety that I'm sure has a devout following. It's not a variety that I'm used to, more of a simplified, basic, or generic type pie. It's not really Italian-American, per see. It's so radically different than any type of NY classic pie.
If you’re in Ohio, you definitely need to head somewhere that serves Ohio Valley style pizza.
It’s a pretty unique style of pizza that I think everyone should try once. You ever heard the saying, “There’s no such thing as bad pizza.” Well I can assure you there is lol. I think Ohio Valley pizza is genuinely awful, and I think others need to try it to see just how badly you can completely fuck up pizza.
Didn't know you came here for that! St. Anthony's is the best place to Briar Hill pizza, with it being in the Briar Hill section of Youngstown being named for the Briar Hill steel works!
I know we had a lot of pizza styles in this country that I wasn't aware of I wasn't quite sure how many and how different they were this is an awesome series
If you haven't already, I hope you get to try an incredibly simple yet very delicious New England Style Bar Pizza. Don't miss a great Detroit Style Pizza and of course Chicago Deep Dish. I am so envious.

I appreciate you highlighting Brier Hill pizza 🔥 but I gotta disagree. The best Brier Hill pizza is Avalon in Downtown Youngstown

I did this same thing. I traveled everywhere looking for pizza. I stopped when I was brutally molested by a 6’4 man with Down’s syndrome in Waco Texas
HOMETOWN BABY I’ve been following you for like a year with your death row meals. Brier hill is my favorite pizza too!!❤❤
So sauce and dough basically ? That tiny bit of grated cheese ain't near enough and is not doing anything 😂
