How to Make the Best Sangria Recipe (Straight from Italy!) | Mix It Up Y’all

Description:
Welcome to Mix It Up Y’all! 🍷 Today we’re kicking off the summer drink series with my all-time favorite summer cocktail — Sangria! This recipe came from a bartender in Italy, shared with me by my good friend Sue, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. It’s bold, fruity, bubbly, and perfect for summer parties.

Ingredients:

3¼ cups red wine (Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, or Tempranillo)
⅓ cup orange liqueur (Grand Marnier, Triple Sec, or similar)
⅓ cup cognac or brandy
⅓ cup lemon vodka (Deep Eddy’s recommended)
⅓ cup sugar
Fresh fruit: blood oranges, apples, pears (+ optional blueberries, raspberries, lemons, limes)
Sprite (or club soda/tonic for less sweet)
Whether you’re bringing it to a party or sipping on the patio, this sangria is a crowd-pleaser every time. Cheers to summer! 🥂
