Fantastic Tokyo Neopolitan pizza from Pizza Marumo in Ebisu, Tokyo.
In order: PJ, Japanese Chili, Red Hot Chili, Wagyu Bismarck.
The clear favorite across my party was the PJ which we ordered twice. The bouncy, airy dough paired beautifully with the clam cream sauce, while a touch of lemon added just enough brightness to balance it all out.
It was a toss up between the Japanese Chili and Red Hot Chili for me for my second favorite as I appreciated the novelty of the rice cracker texture from the Japanese chili but loved the warm familiarity and spice from the more traditional ingredients on the Red Hot Chili.
The tiramisu from this restaurant is almost as lauded for their pizza so I added it as a bonus pic 😛
