I found a buffet in Dallas that completely surprised me. At Casa Pollastro, a Italian and Brazilian rodizio restaurant serving all you can eat Italian and Brazilian food.
Buffet: serve all the carbs first so the customer will feel so full that they will eat very little meat. Mikey: After finishing all the carbs, he can still devour all the meats.
1. Bread. 2. Soup with Pasta. 3. Cheese bread and more carbs. 4. Tiny 2 piece chicken. 5. Pasta. 6. Tiny 2 piece chicken. 7. Pasta. 8. Pasta. 9. 2 small pieces of steak. 10. Pasta. 11. Pasta. 12. Special Pasta. 13. Innovative Pasta. 14. Signature Pasta. 15. More Pasta. 16. Desserts. Yeah and there was Salad too😂 Definitely not a place for meat lovers.
So you loaded up with all the heavy cheap Carbs first before the main course. You wouldn’t be able to eat the main course. Finally this isn’t called Buffet when you’re being served. Concept of traditional buffet is when the foods are already cooked and being lined up, and you serve yourself.
I’d tell them that consuming starches / complex carbs and lactose are against my religion “The Church of Carnivore”, so I’m strictly limited to consuming meat proteins… therefore, no appetizers or pasta side dishes for me. 😅
They charge $42 per person which seems a little steep. I can get a delicious parmesan chicken and rigitoni pasta made fresh at North Italia for like $25 bucks.
prefer the mains to be presented all at once. They must have a lot of servers judging from the tables, if their bringing out 1 dish at a time, a lot of wasted time spent going back and forth.

Good grief, I wish I'd known about this place when I was living in Dallas! This looks stellar.

I avoid the bread. Too filling and they want you to eat that and salad to fill up.
