Imo the best is somewhere in the middle: make it at home but don't make all the ingredients from scratch, storebought lasagna sheets or even sauce packages go a long way, it cuts down like 75% of the time and effort but it's still pretty close to a fully selfmade one and astronomically better than the premade ones from the store
For me homemade fruit tastes better because I just put a lot of time into it but I see where you're coming from I rather buy the thing then the actual food because it takes a lot of time
