l asked for HELP and they stepped up. RENOVATION heroines & heroes. This could have gone very wrong but it goes to show what can be achieved and how much fun you can have with right minded people. Hear their dreams and plans for living in Italy one day soon.
Working on the renovation alone can be tough going but when help arrives you can see how much can actually be achieved with support. I wish I could do this every week and I will certainly be opening up the house to more visitors and helpers in the future.
Maybe keeping this to spring and summer to avoid the winter should enable us to have some time to explore Le Marche and the local area to where I am in Italy.
Thank you all – Jemma, Helen, Andrew and Angus. Part two will show more helpers arrive and the amazing amount of work that this group of very kind people achieved.

There are people all over the world who help others, so many programs and individuals who need help because they're in over their heads, these reno projects take a lot of energy, effot and money even for people with the skills, knowhow and more than one person involved. It took you a while to get to the point of inviting help, like you said, you had no idea how to manage it, but you eventually found out that you'd still be sitting there on your deck drinking wine with an inhabitable building in 2035 if you hadn't had your epiphany. Looking forward to seeing some progress on the building and grounds. One man's Italy is another man's anywhere – it's about the adventure as you can see, your helpers have found their own paradise in other wonderful places.

Great video and what you have all achieved in such a short time is miraculous. It just demonstrates that having random ppl turn up to help you, is an example of good old fashioned community. I'm sure there is a feeling deep within the psyche of humanity for the need to be more cohesive as a species/community. This makes sense in a chaotic world. It's how we survived and evolved after all. I love it
