Gnocchi alla Sorrentina is a dish with origins in Sorrento, Italy – a charming coastal town located near the Amalfi coast and Naples. I have tweaked the recipe slightly, using my ricotta gnocchi for the dish instead of traditional potato ones and it takes this to a new level!
Layered with love, the ricotta gnocchi are smothered in a decadent sauce, creating a delightful union of flavors. But what truly makes this dish a masterpiece is the generous amount of creamy Buffalo Mozzarella, and I used the Best from Vannella Cheese.

When I lived in Wisconsin, the local grocery store always had local, fresh gnocchi. I bought that stuff so much.
The music when you pulled the gnocchi out, was that Vivaldi? I’m not sure of it, but it sounds like Vivaldi.
And aren't we blessed in Australia to have such great produce & ingredients!
Well this is definitely happening. Would it work with homemade cheat "ricotta" where you heat the milk and add vinegar then strain? Where I am there's not always ricotta at the conveniently close shops, but always have lots of milk.

Isn't there to much water in fresh Buffalo Mozzarella, and should really be eaten with ,some fresh tomatoes and olive oil ,nice piece of Italian bread,not really cooked with
