In Ocean City, the annual Doo Dah Parade with more than 300 basset hounds, will take place at noon on Asbury Avenue and Sixth Street. This year’s grand marshal will be Phillies great Mickey Morandini and he will take pictures and sign autographs after the parade.
At Renault Winery & Resort Friday night, experience a champagne and seafood extravaganza called Bubbles & Pearls, complete with an array of under the seas delicacies and a wine and champagne bar.
Then on Saturday, the Atlantic City Ballet presents: Carmen at Caesars Circus Maximus Theater at 7pm.
Over at Ocean Casino Resort, My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis produced by Anthony Wilkinson will take place at Ovation Hall. It’ll be a laugh out loud interactive fiasco comedy of errors.
And your favorite ladies from the 80s are back with The Golden Girls Murder Mystery at Resorts Starlight Room. You’re invited to help solve the mystery, so get your tickets, as there will be two shows, one at 5pm and one at 8pm.
Earlier in the day head to Historic Smithville for the Smithville Art Walk from 10am-5pm featuring more than 75 local artists. It will be a fun filled day of shopping and live music. If it rains, then they will move it to Sunday.
Then on Sunday, the annual Great Day Fest presented by Dirty Politics will take place at Showboat Resort in Atlantic City from noon – 10pm featuring over 30 performers, 50 vendors, live music, giveaways and much more. Check dirtypoliticsusa.com for tickets.
